German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small potatoes
    1/2 lb. finely cut bacon
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 onion, chopped fine
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with jackets; cool and remove jackets.
    Cut up and keep warm.
    In iron skillet, fry bacon crisp.
    Take bacon from pan and add to potatoes.
    Add flour to 1/2 hot drippings and brown, stirring constantly.
    Add vinegar and water.
    Cook to a thin gravy and pour over potatoes.
    Stir in raw onions.
