Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    deep fat
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Beat milk and egg.
    Blend dry ingredients and gradually add milk mixture, beating constantly until batter is smooth.
    Heat deep fat to 375\u00b0.
    Holding your finger over bottom of a funnel, having a 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch hole, fill funnel with batter.
    Cook until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towel and then sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
