Brussels Sprouts And Peas In Brown Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) containers Brussels sprouts
    1 medium lemon
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
Preparation
    Trim off stem and any yellow leaves from Brussels sprouts. Slice sprouts vertically into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    From lemon, grate 1 teaspoon peel and squeeze 1 tablespoon juice.
    In 12-inch skillet melt butter over medium-high heat and cook 2 minutes or until light golden brown, stirring.
    Add sliced Brussels sprouts and stir to coat with browned butter.
    Add 1/4 cup water and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat and add lemon peel, peas, salt, pepper and another 1/4 cup water.
    Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally and stir in juice.
    Serves 8.
