Hot Sausage Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausage
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    3 c. packaged biscuit mix
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Remove sausage from casings; cook meat in large skillet until no longer pink.
    Drain fat; spoon sausage into large bowl and cool.
    Add cheese, biscuit mix and water; blend well.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on large cookie sheet, 2-inches apart, and bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until puffed and browned.
    Makes about 75 puffs.
