Potato Bacon Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 c. (6 medium) cubed new potatoes
1 c. (2 medium) chopped onions
8 oz. sour cream
1 1/2 c. milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation

In a 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the fat becomes transparent, being careful not to overcook.
Add potatoes and onions.
Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender (about 15 to 20 minutes). Add remaining ingredients.
Cook, stirring frequently, until heated through.
