Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. currants
    3 c. chopped apples
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat eggs, oil and sugar together.
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
    Stir into first mixture.
    Add vanilla, currants and apples.
    Dough will be thick.
    Turn into a greased 9 x 15-inch baking pan.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
    While cake is still hot, use a kitchen fork and poke holes in entire cake, so frosting will run in it.
