7 Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (unbeaten)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    5 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except vanilla in double boiler with already rapidly boiling water.
    Beat constantly at medium speed. Cook 7 minutes until frosting stands in peaks.
    Remove from boiling water.
    Add vanilla; beat at high speed until thick enough to spread.
    Covers two layer 9-inch cake.
