Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    butter (for baking dish)
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. butter
    4 large apples, chopped into 3/4 to 1-inch chunks
    whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Preparation
    Butter a baking dish large enough to hold apples in a shallow layer.
    Mix the salt, flour, cinnamon and sugar; work in butter. Mixture will be fairly crumbly.
    Distribute flour-sugar mixture over the top of apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 45 minutes, or until apples are done and crust is brown.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
