Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 saltine crackers, rolled fine
    12 dates, chopped
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix crumbs, dates, nuts, sugar and salt.
    Fold into beaten egg whites.
    Add extract.
    Spread in a greased pie pie.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
