Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and rest of ingredients. Knead well.
    Shape into a roll.
    Place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
    Slice thin.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 8 minutes (no longer).
