Rice Excellente - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. finely chopped water chestnuts
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (6 oz.) pkg. white and wild rice mix
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup butter in skillet.
Add the onion, mushrooms, water chestnuts, celery and green pepper. Saute about 5 minutes. Add the poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, prepare the wild rice mix according to the package directions.
Combine cooked rice thoroughly with the vegetable mixture.
Yields 6 servings.
