Rhubarb Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 qt. onions
    2 c. vinegar
    4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Wash and cut rhubarb into 1-inch pieces.
    Peel and chop onions quite fine.
    Combine all ingredients; boil gently until fairly thick.
    Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
