Hot Apple Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large orange
    1 gal. apple cider or apple juice
    1 large stick cinnamon
    whole cloves
Preparation
    Stud orange with cloves.
    Cut in half.
    Pour cider or juice in a large kettle or pot; float orange and cinnamon stick.
    Bring to a boil; heat for 30 minutes.
    Remove to a crock-pot (optional) to keep warm.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 16 cups.
