Heart Attack Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag frozen hash browns
    1 stick butter
    1 onion, chopped
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    12 oz. sour cream
    4 c. sharp cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    Pam cooking spray
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Defrost hash browns just to the point where they are not a frozen solid block. Melt butter in a mixing bowl, add onion, then soup and sour cream, stir until combined. Mix in 2 cups of cheese, add salt and pepper. Stir in hash browns slowly. Spray casserole dish with Pam, place mixture in dish, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, then spray Pam on top. Cook for 45 minutes to one hour, less for more flavorful onions.
