Aunt Ann'S Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
10 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar

Preparation

Cream together the Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, food coloring and vanilla; mix.
Sift together, in separate bowl, the flour, salt and soda.
Add creamed mixture and dry ingredients, alternately, with the sour milk, then fold in soda dissolved in cider vinegar.
