Chicken Curry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. curry powder
1 Tbsp. butter
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 c. unpeeled apple, diced
1/2 c. beef broth
1 c. lite cream
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cold water
2 c. cooked chicken, diced
Preparation

Melt butter and brown curry powder in it. Add onion, mushrooms, celery and apple to curried butter; mix thoroughly. Add beef broth and bring to just a boil.
Add lite cream and milk. Return to a boil.
Mix cornstarch and water; add to sauce until thickened. Salt to taste.
Add diced, cooked chicken and heat. Serve over hot rice with condiments (raisins, sauteed onions, nuts, chutney, coconut, etc.).
Serves 4 to 6.
