Arizona Mountain Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. dry pinto beans
    3 slices bacon, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    2/3 c. uncooked brown rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Rinse beans.
    In large kettle, combine beans and 3 cups water. Bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer 2 minutes.
    Let stand 1 hour or cover and let stand overnight.
    Drain.
