Crisp Coated Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. frying chicken, cut in serving pieces
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black or red pepper
Preparation
    Dip chicken in milk and drain.
    Combine flour, salt and pepper in paper bag.
    Place one piece of chicken at a time in bag and shake to coat evenly with flour.
    Fry chicken in hot oil, about 1 1/2 inches deep, until brown and crisp on both sides, 10 to 12 minutes.
    Drain on paper towel.
