Fruit Cocktail Dessert Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. fruit cocktail, drained
1/2 c. nut meats

Preparation

Mix all these ingredients, except fruit.
Add 1 cup fruit cocktail.
Pour into a 9-inch pan.
