Clams Chesapeake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 c. chopped red bell peppers
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 cloves garlic, crushed
    1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
    1/4 c. melted butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients above together.
    Top clams or oysters on 1/2 shell with mixture topped with a slice of raw bacon.
    Bake on rock salt for about 10 to 15 minutes, until bacon is crisp.
    Makes approximately 2 dozen (depending on size).
