Party Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp, medium size in shell (we have used large)
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 bay leaf
    1 clove garlic, minced (you can use more)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. chopped onion
Preparation
    Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat immediately.
    Simmer 3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.
    Cool the shrimp in the liquid, then shell and devein. Chill and serve with Cocktail Sauce (recipe following).
    Serves 4.
