Texas Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 24 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    2 c. chopped onion or 1/2 c. minced onion
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. sharp shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with 2 c. crushed cornflakes mixed with butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
