Irish Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium Irish potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes in 1/4 or 1/2-inch pieces.
    Boil in salted water until tender when stuck with a fork but still in whole pieces.
    Drain and place in buttered casserole dish.
    Dot with butter and sprinkle with finely diced onion.
    Dilute the can of soup with 1/2 can of water and spread over the potatoes.
    Sprinkle with pepper and bake at 350\u00b0 until slightly browned.
    Serves 6.
