Vermont Apple Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. real mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 qt. shredded cabbage
    2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
    Mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
    Chill.
    Serve in cabbage leaf-lined bowl and apple slices, if desired.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
