Winter Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks in natural juice, drained and juice reserved
    1 (3 1/8 oz.) pkg. Cook n Serve vanilla pudding
    1 qt. mixed fresh fruit chunks of apples, bananas, oranges, pears and pineapple chunks
    3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1/3 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine reserved pineapple juice and pudding; mix.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened; cool.
    Toss with pineapple and fruit chunks, nuts and coconut.
    Chill until ready to serve.
