Texas Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    In bowl, combine flour and sugar.
    In saucepan, combine butter, shortening, water and cocoa.
    Stir and heat to boiling. Pour over flour and sugar.
    Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla.
    Mix on high speed in mixer.
    Pour in 11 x 17-inch greased pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    While baking, you can prepare the frosting.
