Toffee Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 large (12 oz.) milk chocolate
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Melt butter.
Take off heat.
Add brown sugar and mix well until all are dissolved.
Add 1 cup flour.
Add eggs, then the other cup of flour.
Grease large cookie sheet, pat mixture evenly. Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 15 to 20 minutes (no more).
Be careful that it does not burn.
Crumble chocolate and spread on top of crust.
If not melted, turn heat off and put back in oven so chocolate will melt.
Sprinkle finely chopped nuts on top.
Cut in squares or diamond-shapes while warm.
