Cut It Short Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box devil's food cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix and bake in pound cake pan.
    Cool and split cake into 3 layers.
    Spread 1/3 of Cool Whip and 1/3 of pie filling between each layer and on top.
