Chipper Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine or Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
6 oz. chocolate bits
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream
margarine,
Crisco,
brown sugar and white sugar until fluffy
and
light.
Blend\tin
eggs
and vanilla.\tAdd combined dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Stir in oatmeal, chocolate bits and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 5 dozen.
