Pear Cream Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can pear halves
    2 (4 serving size) pkg. lime Jell-O brand gelatin
    1 1/2 c. ginger ale
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia brand cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Drain and dice pears, reserving syrup.
    Add water to syrup to make 1 1/2 cups; bring to a boil.
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling measured liquid.
    Add ginger ale and lemon juice.
