Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. oil
2 c. evaporated milk
5 eggs
1/2 c. milk
5 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. poppy seed (1 bottle or 1 can)
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine
the
first
5 ingredients in a large bowl; mix until blended.
Sift
together
the 3 dry ingredients.
Blend into
egg mixture.
Add
poppy
seed and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Bake in
3 greased and floured loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes. Makes 3 loaves.
Freezes well.
