Blueberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. orange juice
1 egg
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. fresh blueberries
1/4 c. boiling water
3 tsp. grated orange rind
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In saucepan, melt butter in boiling water.
Add orange juice and ring.
In bowl, beat egg well.
Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
Add to egg and sugar alternately with juice, rind and butter combination.
Fold in blueberries.
Bake in paper lined 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove from pan.
While still hot, spoon glaze over top of loaf and immediately wrap in foil until cold.
