Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. apples
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (save liquid)
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 (8 oz.) extra creamy Cool Whip
1 can honey roasted peanuts
Preparation

Mix egg, flour, sugar, pineapple juice and vinegar in a small saucepan and cook slowly until thick.
Set aside and let cool. Add Cool Whip to cooled mixture.
Mix drained crushed pineapple and apples (unpeeled and cut into bite size cubes).
Combine with Cool Whip mixture.
Add honey roasted peanuts and mix through the salad, saving some to sprinkle on top.
