Venison Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2-inch thick venison steaks, 1/2 lb. each
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    cooking oil
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can condensed mushroom soup
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Rub the steaks with a mixture of flour, garlic powder, paprika and black pepper.
    Brown the meat in a large skillet along with the chopped onion.
    Add the mushroom soup and a can of water. Stir and bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
    Remove the meat and add mushrooms to the liquid in the skillet.
    Simmer until tender and add the sour cream.
