Old Fashioned Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. orange juice
2 c. raisins
4 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
pastry dough for 9-inch (2-crust) pie
Preparation

Put orange juice and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in raisins.
Let stand 2 hours.
Add sugar, flour, lemon juice and salt to raisin mixture.
Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes or until thickened. Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Roll out half of the dough and line 9-inch pie pan.
Pour raisin mixture.
Roll out remaining dough and a lattice top.
Crimp together top and bottom dough.
Bake for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 350\u00b0.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is browned.
