Vodka Sauce For Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 large cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. vodka
    28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
    salt and pepper
    parsley, oregano and basil
    3/4 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a medium saucepan.
    Brown onion and garlic in hot oil; add vodka and boil for about 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and spices to taste and simmer for about 30 minutes.
    Add cream immediately prior to serving.
    Heat through but do not bring to boil.
    Serve with tube shaped pasta such as ziti or rigatoni.
