Claremont Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. elbow macaroni
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 lb. chuck hamburger
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to directions; drain.
    Saute onion and green pepper in shortening.
    Add meat and stir.
    Blend mushroom soup and milk together; combine all ingredients together.
    Bake in a casserole for 1 hour in a 360\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 6 to 8.
