Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cooked pumpkin
9-inch pastry shell
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 c. Pet milk
2 eggs, separated
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients, except the sugar and eggs. Cook over boiling water for 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in 2 slightly beaten egg yolks. Return to heat and cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. Cook and pour into a 9-inch baked pastry shell.\tMake meringue of 2 egg whites, folding in 1/4 cup sugar.
Brown meringue.\tCool slightly to serve.
