Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
    dash of salt
    red food coloring
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 baked pie crust or graham cracker crust
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and salt until clear.
    Remove from heat and add jello and a little red food coloring.
    Let cool; slice in one quart of strawberries (after being washed!) into cooled liquid.
    Pour into baked pie crust.
    Refrigerate several hours before serving.
