Three Month Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 bunch celery
    2 green peppers
    2 red peppers
    2 large heads cabbage
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Shred cabbage.
    Sprinkle with salt; let stand 2 hours. Squeeze dry by handfuls.
    Put in large bowl with celery and peppers (chopped).
