Mexican Ribbon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chocolate layer cake
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. chocolate pudding (not instant)
    4 c. whipping cream
    1 white layer cake
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
Preparation
    Divide the layers into half, making 4 layers.
    Mix the chocolate pudding with 2 cups cream and whip.
    Mix the vanilla pudding with 2 cups cream and whip until thick.
    Alternate the cake layers with cream, ending with a white cake on top and top with chocolate cream.
    Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
