Jack Daniels' Intoxicated Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 chicken breasts (boneless)
3 to 4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. Jack Daniels whiskey
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 c. minced fresh parsley (dried flakes will substitute)
1/4 c. water
1 c. heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat butter; brown chicken on both sides.
Add Jack Daniels whiskey; ignite whiskey, if desired.
(Igniting the whiskey lessens the flavor of the whiskey.)
When the flames go out, add the onion.
Cook for one or two minutes.
Add thyme, parsley and water.
Cover the skillet and cook over a low heat, turning occasionally, 25 to 35 minutes.
Transfer chicken to a warm platter.
