Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small onion
    1 can whole kernel corn or 1 can small sweet peas
    1 lb. grated cheese
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    mashed potatoes (4 to 6 servings)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion together.
    Drain.
    Return to pan; add cream of mushroom soup, corn, salt and pepper.
    Simmer while making mashed potatoes.
    In a 2 x 9 x 13-inch baking pan (glass or aluminum), pour ground beef mixture in pan.
    Layer with mashed potatoes; top with cheese.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese has melted.
