Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. hot water
1 1/2 c. shortening
dash of salt
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nut meats

Preparation

Mix in order given.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
