Pecan Pie Number 1 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1 Tbsp. vinegar
3 eggs
1 c. pecans, whole or chopped
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Preparation

Mix sugar, syrup, butter and vinegar.
Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
Cool slightly.
Stir eggs (beat), then stir into mixture. (Be sure mixture has cooled enough so eggs will not cook.)
Add nuts and nutmeg.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Lower temperature to 300\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes more.
