Panas Or Scrapple(German Breakfast Food) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 lb. pork
1 tsp. minced garlic
3 tsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. red pepper
4 c. white corn meal
2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Cover meat with water and add spices.
Cook until meat is tender.
Cool.
Coarsely grind meat.
Return to broth.
Mix corn meal with flour and sugar.
Start adding the dry ingredients. Stir, stir, stir until it thickens.
Cook over low heat until panas pulls away from spoon or pan.
Add more spices to suit taste or leave as is.
Pour into bread pans.
Cool, then store in refrigerator or freezer.
Place waxed paper between slices.
