Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation

Cream butter on high speed of mixer. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add flour and beat until smooth. Add eggs and beat until well blended. Add buttermilk and vanilla; beat well. Pour into pie shell and bake 5 minutes at 400\u00b0. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake an additional 45 minutes or until set. Cool to room temperature; chill.
