Black Russian Brownies - cooking recipe

4 1 ounce squares of unsweetened Chocolate
1 cup Butter
3/4 tsp. Black Pepper (optional)
4 Eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/3 cup Kahlua
2 Tbsp. Vodka
1 1/3 cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 cup chopped Walnuts
Powdered Sugar (optional)
Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Line bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan with wax paper. Melt chocolate and butter with pepper in a sauce pan over low heat. Remove from heat. combine eggs, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl, beat well. Stir in cooled chocolate mixture, Kahlua and Vodka. Combine flour, salt and baking powder, add chocolate mixture and stir. Add walnuts. Spread in pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool on wire rack, cut into bars. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
