Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. raw peanuts
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix together the first 4 ingredients in a 4-cup Pyrex pitcher. Microwave for 4 minutes. Stir real good.
Microwave for 3 1/2 minutes. Add the vanilla and add the butter.
Microwave 1 1/2 minutes. Add the soda.
Stir and pour quickly onto buttered cookie sheet. After 30 minutes, turn the candy over to let it dry thoroughly. Break into bite size pieces and enjoy.
