Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 large bananas
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. nut meats
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
    Stir in the mashed bananas and nuts.
    Add sifted flour with salt, soda and baking powder alternately with the milk.
    Bake in well-greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
